Shichi Hon Yari Shizuku Junmai Daiginjo Silent Samurai is a premium Japanese sake produced by the Tomita Brewery, located in Shiga Prefecture, Japan. This sake is made using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients, including Tamazakae rice that is highly polished, and slowly fermented at a lower temperature. The "Shizuku" brewing method is used to produce this sake, which involves using gravity to extract the sake from the mash without the use of a press. This results in a more delicate and refined sake with a smoother texture. Silent Samurai has a clear, pale gold color with a subtle aroma of rice, fruit, and a hint of floral notes. Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino 2019 is a high-quality red wine produced in the Montalcino region of Tuscany, Italy. It is made entirely from Sangiovese grapes, also known locally as Brunello, which are carefully handpicked and selected during harvest. In the glass, this wine has a deep ruby color with purple hues. On the nose, it has intense and complex aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and ripe plum, with hints of spice, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with rich flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, and vanilla, complemented by smooth tannins and a long, lingering finish. This wine is aged for 42 months in oak barrels, which adds complexity and depth to its flavor profile. Pazo de la Cuesta Mencia 2020 has an intense red color, middle layer. On the nose the wine has aromas of strawberries and black currants with foral notes and some maturity characteristic. The attack is fresh, its roundness stands out in the mouth with a good balance between alcohol, acidity and tannicity. -
Champagne Pommery Brut Grand Cru Royal Millesime 2008 has is crystalline, of a discreet gold with green reflections. The nose presents the patina of the Pommery vintages: elegance, minerality, freshness. First of all intense floral notes reach us: the peony floats around the hawthorn. Maturity is expressed by fruity notes of pear and fresh apricot. The great Pinot Noir present themselves with notes of crushed fresh strawberries. On the palate, the tasting is floating, with a great uprightness. A mineral structure fills the palate from the attack to the finish like a spine. Notes of acacia honey and Mirabelle underline the central element of the tasting. The finish is punctuated by a nice sweetness, marked by flavours of blood orange.
