Cave Caloz is a family run winery that was established three generations ago and whose wine production guarantees the health and nourishment of the land, whilst benevolently using natural and human resources. The grapes, which are harvested by hand and vinified in our cellar, produce vintages that bring joy and meaning to our profession. Undisputably a grand cru vineyard, Le Mont enjoys a choice site on the Première Côte. With less clay and more stone than Le Haut-Lieu, Le Mont yields young wines of intense minerality. With age, the wines develop great length and finesse. This wine has notes of white flowers, citrus fruit and apple with great tension on the palate and a long mineral finish. This Grand Cru is shared by the two villages of Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses in the north of the Côte de Beaune. Jadot’s vineyard area has been in the family since the 19th century and faces south. This Chardonnay wine is fermented and matured in oak barrels for a total of 18 months. This powerful and mineral wine has intense fruit, flower, pepper and cinnamon aromas and flavors. It is essential to age this wine in the bottle: 10 to 20 years will bring out the best in its development. Pair with haute cuisine, especially fish, shellfish and white meats in cream sauces. -
Les Perrières is 2.5 acres in size and is situated on the 'back side of the rock' with a sloping southeastern exposure just above the Le Clos parcel. The soil, which is derived from alluvial deposits, consists of a mix of deep silt and clay containing few stones. The subsoil features streaks of limestone and limestone marls, while the top layers, which are moderate in depth, are littered with stones on the surface. The vines have an average age of 35 years old. The wine is fermented in oak barrels before further barrel maturation, a part of it on lees. This Pouilly-Fuissé opens with creamy honeysuckle on the nose. A generous mouthfeel complements a nice ripeness and intense richness with notes of gingerbread and flowers. The wine is ample, smooth and well balanced, with a vivid, spicy finish. With age, it will gain in richness and fully reveal itself. -

Rotlay is a parcel of vines within the larger Sonnenuhr vineyard, vinified separately for this bottling thanks to the unusual beauty and complexity of its wines. The Sonnenuhr (‘sundial’) vineyard itself is one of the most celebrated in the Mosel, and this precipitously steep part of it yields a wonderful example of the vineyard’s style in this cool corner of the Mosel: light but intensely flavored. 2020 was a warm vintage (the last in a trio of warm years) but with cooler weather at harvest. This ensured freshness and balance in the wines, which are remarkably easy to drink while maintaining all the tension and elegance typical of Mosel Riesling. The Rotlay in 2020 showcases the cool, understated style of Heinrichshof’s wines: delicate hints of spice, flowers and slatey mineral seduce rather than overwhelm the drinker. Additional complexity of flavor may be expected when aged for 4-5 years after the vintage. -

Located in Sauternes, on one of the greatest white wine terroirs in France , the Clos des Lunes is a magnificent rolling vineyard planted with old sémillon and sauvignon blanc vines. On very old vines, some perfectly golden clusters are chosen and delicately sorted grain by grain, by expert hands.Clos des Lunes Lune d'Argent 2021 has a light yellow color with pale green tints. It has intense and complex nose of exotic white fruits and citrus fruit mixed with floral notes of linden and acacia. The palate is rich, generous, ample and intensely fruity, with very good tension. The Sauvignon Blanc lemon juice deli- cately coats the exotic sweetness (lychee, mango) of the well-ripe Semillon. Mineral notes bringing good salinity added to this cocktail, to serve a beautiful finish. -
