Champagne Chartogne-Taillet Rose Brut is a blended Champagne that offers two distinct and successive taste profiles. This wine first enrobes the mouth with a mellow texture, then is long on the palate, leaving a delicate and precise consistency. Le Rosé is a blended Champagne composed of Chardonnay, and red grape varieties (mostly Pinot Noir). The blended red wine comes from one of two plots recognised for the quality of their red-wine grapes. In certain years, from the Orizeaux plot, and since 2017, from the Les Fontaines plot in Saint Thierry. Le Rosé is an exception among the house's wines. It requires more varied oenological work than our single-vineyard Champagnes do. The effect of this addition of red wine to white wine necessitates specific decisions to avoid excess opulence, fruitiness or tannicity. -

The 2019 vintage of Aurora Vineyard is a wine of finesse and elegance and is characterized by its broad palate that begins at entry and follows through to a stunning and lengthy finish. To create this seamless wine, the vineyard was harvested several times over a two week period. The fruit was manually selected berry-by-berry and then fermented in both stainless tank and wood barrels, creating numerous wine lots with subtle but distinct nuances. The 2019 vintage offers classic Aurora aromas and flavors of wild blackberry, cassis, candied cherry and vanilla, cinnamon, and clove. A stunner. The Chateau Clerc Milon 2015 is a crystal-clear garnet red with violet highlights. The Barolo Castelletto is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the upper parts of the Castelletto cru in Monforte d’Alba. Castelletto is a cool, east-facing cru facing the famous Vigna Rionda cru of Serralunga d’Alba, separated only by a small stream at the bottom of the valley.The 2017 vintage was challenging for many in the region due to heat and drought. However, wine critic Walter Speller has noted on JancisRobinson.com: ‘it is Monforte d'Alba that has turned out to be the absolute star in this vintage. Castello di Perno is an important, up and coming estate in Piedmont of which wine lovers will be hearing a lot more in years to come. The brain child of Milanese lawyer Gregorio Gitti, Castello di Perno was founded in 2012 and owns 14 hectares (35 acres) of vineyard in the Monforte d’Alba, Nizza and Alta Langha regions, all farmed organically.
The castello in question sits at the summit of the tiny village of Perno, and houses Signor Gitti’s extensive collection of contemporary art. The wines are made by one of the region’s top winemaking consultants, Gian Luca Colombo.

The first harvest took place in 1252. For more than 750 years, therefore, Château Pape Clément has been producing fine wines on the same terroir. At this time, it was called Domaine de la Mothe.Following a painful episode of hail in 1937, which damaged the vineyard, the land was bought in 1939 by the agricultural engineer Paul Montagne, who signalled the rebirth of the estate by replanting the vines and renovating the cellars. As early as 1953, successful vintages flourished again, but once again, from 1975 onwards, a lack of investment detracted from quality for a period of around ten years.
At the turn of the 1980s, Bernard Magrez, a passionate wine entrepreneur, took the reins at the Château and was to give this grand cru classé an unprecedented international aura. Thanks to hard work, constant questioning, the alliance of tradition and innovation and a remarkable terroir, Château Pape Clément, Grand Cru Classé de Graves continues each year to amaze wine lovers with a quality exceptional.
