    Appassionata Allegro Pinot Noir 2019

Original price was: $99.99.Current price is: $79.97.
The opening tier of Appassionata Pinot Noir bears the name of the Piano Sonata’s first movement, Allegro, which is the musical pace of a brisk walk. This cuvée is a selection of barrels that show a precocious liveliness and expressivity that will drink well as a youthful wine, but is built for aging. It is bottled after 18 to 20 months in barrel, and released three years after the vintage. The Allegro Pinot Noir beautifully displays the beginnings of bottle maturation, and will age gracefully for many years.

Poggio di Sotto Rosso di Montalcino 2017

Original price was: $105.99.Current price is: $80.97.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 93 points: "The Poggio di Sotto 2017 Rosso di Montalcino is a terrific wine and one of a handful of Rossi that I can recommend for longer cellar aging. This Rosso is built like a Brunello and shows the qualities needed to further its evolution. In this 20,000-bottle release, those attributes include complexity, freshness and a solid, mid-weight structure. You hardly feel the heat of the vintage, save for those hints of extra richness and concentration that add to the wine's important and pleasurable mouthfeel. This is a terrific Rosso with the long-term perspective of its big brother Brunello."

    Konteki Sake Pack

Original price was: $91.99.Current price is: $81.97.
Compare and contrast these 2 delicious sakes, one made as Junmai Daiginjo the other as Daiginjo that was brewed in the same way with the same ingredients as Pearls of Simplicity but with a touch of distilled alcohol to open up aromatics and lighten the overall impact. Konteki means “dew drops of the earth” while Higashiyama (the brewery name) translates to “eastern hill.“ Brewery workers have been known to start their days watching the sun rise over the mountains until the dew drops glisten as if they were the Tears of Dawn. • The Barolo Castelletto is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the upper parts of the Castelletto cru in Monforte d’Alba. Castelletto is a cool, east-facing cru facing the famous Vigna Rionda cru of Serralunga d’Alba, separated only by a small stream at the bottom of the valley.
Very delicate aromas on the nose, with concentrated fruit on the palate and an elegant style. There is more depth and power here than in the regular Barolo.
The 2017 vintage was challenging for many in the region due to heat and drought. However, wine critic Walter Speller has noted on JancisRobinson.com: ‘it is Monforte d'Alba that has turned out to be the absolute star in this vintage. Tasting its wines was like changing gears, going from a sluggish it is Monforte d'Alba that has turned out to walk to a brisk pace. The wines show generous, juicy fruit with a proper tannic core and plenty of the energy that is in short supply in 2017. The Castelletto cru, until now still flying a little under the radar, delivered a number of delicious wines
