Introduced in 1978 with the name Crémant, it is a special interpretation of a Franciacorta made only with Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco. In 1990 its name was changed to Franciacorta Vintage Satèn. Since the 2008 vintage, Ca' del Bosco has decided to reinterpret Dosage Zéro, Satèn and Brut, and to give them a distinctive appellation as well: "Vintage Collection". An elegant narrative of our extraordinary territory and of man’s ability to bring out the vines’ inherent potential.

Domaine Faiveley Corton Clos des Cortons Faiveley Grand Cru Monopole 2021 has a ruby red color with clear purple reflections. The nose is powerful, and concentrated and exudes notes of black cherry and spice. The palate is rich and smooth with good energy and concentration. The finish is elegant. Castello di Perno Barolo DOCG 2019
Castello di Perno is an up-and-coming estate in Piedmont of which wine lovers will be hearing a lot more in years to come. The wines are made by one of the region’s top winemakers, Gian Luca Colombo, and the style is described as "neoclassical" by Nick Jackson MW; not a traditionalist, not a modernist producer, but a new classic style of Barolo. The 2019 vintage of Castello di Perno is 100% Nebbiolo, aged for 24 months in Austrian oak casks and 12 months in bottle. Expect aromas of dried flowers, truffles and cranberries. The balanced palate has high tight-grained tannins and complex earthy and herbal notes, with an elegant long finish. We had the honor of hosting Castello di Perno at 305 Wines and tasted a range of their wines. All highly recommended.

R Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Rioja Reserva 2011 has a vibrant red leading slightly towards amber color. On the nose the wine has notes of vanilla and dried berry aromas. On the palate it is rich, very dry, smooth, developed. Firm tannins and good balance.
Uccelliera Brunello di Montalcino 2018
The Uccelliera estate is located in the warm southern Castelnuovo dell’Abate part of the Montalcino zone. The vineyards range from 150 to 350 meters above sea level. Uccelliera Brunello di Montalcino 2018 is aged 24 months in a mix of French and Slavonian oak. The wine has aromas of black cherries, plums, and walnuts with undertones of cedar. The palate is dense and full-bodied, with rich tannins, and a complex finish.

On the nose rich aromas of fruits such as raisins, figs and dates accompanied by honey, syrup and fruit preserve. On the palate velvety and smooth with good acidity which alleviates the sweetness. Long and flavourful finish.

Vintage: Champagne Cristal 2015 relies on essence of its terroir, originating from vineyard plots under cultivation since 1845, following sustainable viticultural practices. This vintage reflects a distinctive identity deeply entrenched in the land, yet aspiring towards celestial heights. Winemaking: In the crafting of Cristal 2015, 25% of the wine undergoes oak aging, while the prevention of malolactic fermentation is deliberate to safeguard the fruit's luminous, fresh, and pure characteristics. The wine undergoes a six to seven-year sur lattes aging period, followed by an additional six to twelve months of post-disgorgement maturation. Tasting Notes: Cristal 2015 is a Champagne that engages the palate with its complexity and finesse. Its aromatic profile reveals nuances of yellow fruit, toasted almonds, and wheat from the Chardonnay, seamlessly integrated with the Pinot Noir's succulent red fruit notes. On the palate, the acidity is invigorating, evolving into a delicate tactile sensation, offering a silky texture with notes of candied citrus, spices and a salty mineral long finish. Food Pairing: Cristal 2015's exceptional equilibrium and finesse make it an ideal companion for a diverse array of foods. It harmonizes brilliantly with delicate seafood, such as oysters or sushi, accentuating its crisp freshness. Its silky texture complements dishes featuring creamy textures, such as lobster bisque or chicken in creamy sauces.
