Vin de Constance Natural Sweet Wine 2018 Klein Constantia has a bright and yellow gold in color. The nose is layered with complex flavours of Seville marmalade, ginger spice and grapefruit. A rich and luxurious mouthfeel, the wine is full bodied, fresh and vibrant. The palate is balanced showcasing a perfect harmony between salinity, acidity, spice and sweetness. Concentrated with suspended density, it concludes with a pithy astringency and a lingering finish. The combination of residual sugar and alcohol levels has a well known preservative effect on bottled wine. This wine is capable of ageing for many decades if not generations from release. -
This is a blend of 3 year old wines which seeks to sustain the development of its red color, maintaining the fruity aroma and vigor of young wines. The color is dense, red, more intense than a Tawny Port. Notes of cherry, blackberry, plum and raspberry with a hint of cinnamon. -

Grape: Muscat à Petits Grains BlancOn the Durban label there is a coat of arms with three “Ts.” This is the official coat of arms of the village of Beaumes-de-Venise. The modern day city was originally three villages (Aubune, Beaumes, and Saint Véran). The “T” is a tau which is also an old form of the cross. The three taus, or crosses, are for the protectors of the three villages, Sainte Anne, Saint Roch, and Saint Sébastian.
