Yamagata is one of the first prefecture to obtain Geographical Indication for sake. Polished to 35%, this Reserve Daiginjo has a vibrant aroma and crisp dry taste. Established in 1688, Katsuyama is a sake brewery with traditions lasting well over three century. They were established to brew the upscale sake enjoyed exclusively by the feudal lords of the Sendai domain, where was founded by Japan's Most famous samurai & military commander Date Masamune. To this day, Katsuyama carries on the reputation and tradition of its origins as a brewery for the lords.Brewed with a traditional sake brewing method, Den features a fruity aroma and distinct rich flavors. This sake has the true characteristics of a Junmai Daiginjo. Its crisp and clean umami stands out clearly and lingers as a distinctly mouthwatering aftertaste. It is an excellent choice to pair with tuna and salmon sushi/sashimi. It also goes well with meat and meat dishes prepared in both Japanese and western style.
Den means "tradition," referring to the traditional way this sake is brewed.

The elegant fragrance and fascination is created only from drops. Fukuro-tsuri (Drip-sake) is made from only drops by gravity from moromi (fermentation mush) in a hanged filter bag. It has an elegant fragrance and the dense, fascinating taste. The fruity flavor and the smooth texture will leave an impression of ripened fruits – and you won’t believe it is sake made from rice. Beautiful dark red colour with glints of black. The nose is still closed but presents all the characteristics of superb aromatic potential. Depth, complexity and oaky notes are already perfectly integrated. On the palate the attack is soft and silky. Then, gradually, with the same softness, the wine invades the mouth, slowly revealing its fresh character, typical of Duhart-Milon’s late-ripening terroir. A very dense wine with tight, delicate tannins creating excellent length on the palate. All the necessary qualities for a very promising future. -

Domaine Jean Grivot is among the great names in Burgundian wine. Étienne Grivot and his wife Marielle took over from Étienne’s father Jean Grivot in 1987. The vineyards are densely planted and farmed organically “sans certification” while the aim in the cellar is for balance and clear expression of terroir.The wine shows aromas and flavors of red berries, herbs, and purple flowers. Domaine Antonin Guyon Corton Bressandes Grand Cru 2017 offers an exceptional range of Burgundies, mostly in the premier crus and the grand crus of the region. Corton is unique as it is the Côte de Beaune's only red grand cru appellation. This wine has a generous nose of juicy black fruit, cherries in particular. The palate is rich and full-bodied, offering vanilla, licorice, and an oak-spiciness from 18 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which were new. The concentration and broad tannin structure of this wine means it will continue to develop for the next 20 years. An excellent pairing for roasted meat, game, and most cheeses.
