Cave Caloz is a family run winery that was established three generations ago and whose wine production guarantees the health and nourishment of the land, whilst benevolently using natural and human resources. The grapes, which are harvested by hand and vinified in our cellar, produce vintages that bring joy and meaning to our profession. The winery was founded by Fernand, who built both the cellar and the family house in 1960. Color: Straw Aromas: honey and white flower. Palate: Spiced lemon flavors with snappy acidity. Nicely textured and round with a tingle to finish. -

Product will be shipped in 5 working days. Takeda Shuzo is located in the coastal fishing village of Joetsu in Niigata Prefecture. Takeda Black Skull Tokubetsu Honjozo MNG is made to highlight the local rice, you’ll get giant aromas that change on every revisit. There’s some Ginjo fruit plus a rich caramel leaping from the glass due to the Honjozo (brewer’s alcohol) used to extract extra aroma and texture. Late on the finish, look for cocoa powder. Enjoy as an aperitif with creamy cow’s milk cheeses, pastas like Carbonara and Primavera, foie gras or pizza. Serve at any temperature. -

Grosset Wines is a small family-run operation entering its fifth decade. The unwavering vision is to create pure expressions of variety and place. Our four estate-owned vineyards, A-Grade Certified Organic and Biodynamic (ACO), are located in high altitude country of the Clare Valley, each site selected for its potential to produce great wine and planted by Grosset. Each is handpicked and hand pruned; each bunch of grapes harvested at optimum ripeness. Production is tiny. Single vineyard wines are the focus. The winemaking process is gentle and uncomplicated. Custodianship remains with Grosset Wines from grape growing to in-house bottling; authenticity is assured. Delightful floral aromas with hints of lime juice and beeswax - though it's white flowers that dominate. It's almost joyful or playful. On the palate, tight, fine and intense; a pure and unevolved thread of lime juice at its core. It has depth of flavour and intensity in its infancy with the suggestion that these will become hallmarks of the aged wine. -

The Hojo Biden Yamahai Junmai is a bold sake designed to match the rich flavors of the local Fukuoka cuisine. Brewed a touch sweeter than a common sake, the off dry flavor is balanced by a stronger alcohol presence of 16-17% and higher than average acid from the yamahai brewing process. Aged for 2 years in bottle before release to allow the flavors to mellow and harmonize. It has notes of honey, almonds, and vanilla lead to a balanced palate. The sweetness and acidity give this Sake body and depth, which make it the perfect match for rich cuisines like grilled mackerel, miso marinated pork loin, or spicy hot pot. -

School friends Giambattista Cilia (C), Giusto Occhipinti (O) and Pinuccia Strano (S) began making wine for pleasure and ended up creating a company that would become one of the most well-known in Sicilia. They rented their parents’ lands and began harvesting, pressing grapes, and making wine. They continue to operate with this independence of spirit, doing largely without an oenologist and basing winemaking decisions on their considerable experience and intuition. COS is a lifelong project of expressing the terroir, passion, and culture of this part of Sicily in its truest form. -

Château de Ferrand 2018 has a deep garnet color. The nose is expressive and flattering, with red fruits notes such as raspberry or wild strawberry. Then, hints of violets and toasted hazelnuts are revealed. On the palate, it is a voluptuous, gourmet and silky wine with a very airy finish, carried by the fruit. This 2018 is in line with the greatest vintages such as 2010 and 2016.
