Zorzal Terroir Unico Malbec 2020 has a deep, shining red color with very mineral, with strong evidence of calcareous soils, such as chalk aromas. It is very fresh on entry, with great volume and texture. The tannins are somewhat edgy and the finish is a long one. -

All batches of Bush Vine Grenache are crushed as separate parcels to either static pumpover fermenters or open top fermenters. The majority of batches are fully destemmed, however for some the stems are left on to contribute another flavour dimension. The wild yeasts present on the grape skins are allowed to initiate fermentation. Particular batches are selected to remain on skins post-fermentation. This extended maturation helps to contribute an even greater complexity and individuality to the wine. After draining and pressing off skins, all batches are racked into older American, French and Hungarian hogsheads for six months maturation. The fragrance is saturated with brooding plum red fruits, dark cherries and perfumed berries. This is a defined wine showing the richness and concentration of the vintage. The palate is richly textured, fleshy, round and supple, with a red juiciness that merges into velvety tannins. -

Founded in Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia, in the heart of Sherry country, it is dedicated to the production of high quality sherries. The Sherry triangle, made up of Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa Maria and Sanlucar de Barrameda, has a unique microclimate influenced by the surrounding Atlantic Ocean and Guadalquivir and Guadalete rivers. Production is dominated by the Palomino variety, and vines are planted in the white Albariza soil, with high chalk content which is excellent for retaining moisture. These soil conditions, combined with over 3,000 hours of annual sunshine, fresh, humid breezes from the west (poniente) and warm, dry breezes from the east (levante) have formed the perfect marriage with the Palomino variety to produce an array of sherry styles.All sherries are aged following the traditional Solera system where the wines are blended in 600 litre American oak casks.
