The Clos des Lambrays is one of the 33 Grands Crus of Bourgogne, located in one of the region’s most precious so-called “Climats”. The very first reference to « Clos des Lambrays » traces back to the fourteenth century. Archives of the Abbey of Cîteaux reveal its founding around 1365. An engraved milestone, still in its original location, commemorates the founding. The Domaine des Lambrays Clos Des Lambrays Grand Cru 2021 offers aromas of dark cherries, ripe plums, and blackberries with hints of violets, forest floor, and graphite. On the palate, it is balanced with bright acidity and very fine tannins, displaying flavors of red and black fruits, earthy notes, and a touch of spice and cedar from the long aging in French oak barrels. The finish is extremely long. This wine reflects the terroir of Clos des Lambrays and has 15-20 years of aging potential. -
Domaine du Pegau Chateauneuf du Pape 2021 has a dark red with a purple body color. On the nose the wine has notes of black ripe fruits like morello cherries and raspberries, juniper berries and black pepper. On the palate the wine is round, rich and powerful with soft tannins.

Montagny is the most southern of the Côte Chalonnaise villages and lies at the border of the Mâconnais. Domaine Faiveley Montagny 2020 has clear pale yellow colors with a fresh nose combining floral and mineral notes. The palate is concentrated, well-balanced and taut with a pleasant freshness and good aromatic persistency on the finish. -
Less rich in alcohol than the Crus. It is a wine to enjoy and drink fairly young. Very fruity. It is also always very supple. A very pleasant wine indeed. It goes well with roasts, white meat, poultry as well as cheeses. -

The wines of Volnay have always fine tannins, which makes them supple with good aging potential. Beautiful red ruby color. The bouquet is well defined and very elegant with gracious rose petal notes. The palate is rounded on the entry with silky smooth tannins that are well melted into the wine. There is a velvety touch in the mouth surrounded by a fine acidity and a good grip. Some nice morello cherries and cherry stone notes on finish.

Undisputably a grand cru vineyard, Le Mont enjoys a choice site on the Première Côte. With less clay and more stone than Le Haut-Lieu, Le Mont yields young wines of intense minerality. With age, the wines develop great length and finesse. This wine has notes of white flowers, citrus fruit and apple with great tension on the palate and a long mineral finish. Domaine Jean Grivot is among the great names in Burgundian wine. Étienne Grivot and his wife Marielle took over from Étienne’s father Jean Grivot in 1987. The vineyards are densely planted and farmed organically “sans certification” while the aim in the cellar is for balance and clear expression of terroir.The wine shows aromas and flavors of red berries, herbs, and purple flowers. The palate is rich with ripe fruit and medium weight with bright acidity and fine tannins. Aging in up to 25% new Burgundian pièce brings notes of vanilla, toast, and baking spices.
