Champagne Pommery Brut Grand Cru Royal Millesime 2008 has is crystalline, of a discreet gold with green reflections. The nose presents the patina of the Pommery vintages: elegance, minerality, freshness. First of all intense floral notes reach us: the peony floats around the hawthorn. Maturity is expressed by fruity notes of pear and fresh apricot. The great Pinot Noir present themselves with notes of crushed fresh strawberries. On the palate, the tasting is floating, with a great uprightness. A mineral structure fills the palate from the attack to the finish like a spine. Notes of acacia honey and Mirabelle underline the central element of the tasting. The finish is punctuated by a nice sweetness, marked by flavours of blood orange. -

The wines of Volnay have always fine tannins, which makes them supple with good aging potential. Beautiful red ruby color. The bouquet is well defined and very elegant with gracious rose petal notes. The palate is rounded on the entry with silky smooth tannins that are well melted into the wine. There is a velvety touch in the mouth surrounded by a fine acidity and a good grip. Some nice morello cherries and cherry stone notes on finish. -
Ferreira Vintages are unique and exceptional Portos, at the pinnacle of excellence. With over 250 years of this tradition for excellence, Ferreira has one of the Porto sector's top cellars for vintage Portos, with wines dating back to 1815. This Vintage shows an intense, almost black colour. The aroma reveals great complexity and intensity with dried black fruits, such as plums and figs. This wine reveals balsamic notes of heather as well as hints of liquorice, cocoa and chocolate, thanks to its excellent maturation. Dense on the palate, with great volume, it has a well-integrated acidity that frames notes of milk chocolate and sour cherry. It's finish is one of great length, freshness and balance in the true Ferreira style. -
Castello di Perno is an up-and-coming estate in Piedmont of which wine lovers will be hearing a lot more in years to come. The wines are made by one of the region’s top winemakers, Gian Luca Colombo, and the style is described as "neoclassical" by Nick Jackson MW; not a traditionalist, not a modernist producer, but a new classic style of Barolo. The 2019 vintage of Castello di Perno is 100% Nebbiolo, aged for 24 months in Austrian oak casks and 12 months in bottle. Expect aromas of dried flowers, truffles and cranberries. The balanced palate has high tight-grained tannins and complex earthy and herbal notes, with an elegant long finish. We had the honor of hosting Castello di Perno at 305 Wines and tasted a range of their wines. All highly recommended. -
Rozes Vintage Porto 2017 has a deep inky color. On the nose it is intense, fine with mature aromas. On the palate the wine is marked by good freshness and its concentrated and distinct tannins, highlighting its potential with a good structure and body. It pairs perfectly with strong cheeses, dark chocolate cake and red fruit ice creams.
