Chateau Lafite Rothschild 2020
Wine Advocate - 97 points
"The 2020 Lafite Rothschild opens in the glass with a deep bouquet of cassis, black truffle, pencil shavings and violets. Full-bodied, fleshy and layered, its broad attack segues into an ample core of fruit framed by supple, melting tannins. Seamless, layered and complete, it's richer and deeper pitched than the 2019, and its notably high pH of 3.94 likely means it will never shut down. It's a blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, incorporating just a touch more Merlot from the plateau of Carruades than the 2019."About Chateau Lafite-Rotschild
Château Lafite-Rothschild is an iconic estate located in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, and holds the distinguished honor of being classified as a First Growth in 1855. With a rich heritage dating back to 1868, it has remained under the esteemed ownership of the Rothschild family. Presently, the visionary leadership of Saskia de Rothschild, daughter of the revered Baron Eric de Rothschild, guides the legacy of Lafite with unwavering commitment and expertise.Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte 2005
The vines of Château Smith Haut Lafitte are planted in a single block on a Günz gravel plateau in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, producing six different wines. Château Smith Haut Lafitte, a Graves Great Growth (Grand Cru) in both red and white, and our two second wines Les Hauts de Smith and Le Petit Haut Lafitte, also in red and white. Each has its own unique blend and distinctive aromatic profile.

"This sensational, opaque blue/purple-colored wine from Smith Haut Lafitte has a gorgeous floral nose with notes of graphite, blueberries, blackberries, and cassis that jump from the glass of this inky, very dense, yet strikingly pure wine. Light on its feet despite its stunning concentration and multi-layered mouthfeel, this wine has fabulous intensity, richness and length. Quite impressive, and still incredibly youthful, this is a superstar of the vintage, and capable of lasting another 25-30 years."Chateau Clerc Milon 2015
The Chateau Clerc Milon 2015 is a crystal-clear garnet red with violet highlights. The fresh and elegant nose exudes ripe morello cherry aromas, followed by subtle notes of liquorice and toast to complete a rich and complex yet light and airy bouquet. Initially refined and silky, the palate gathers power on finely chiselled tannins wrapped in crisp flavours of red fruit, dark chocolate and dried flowers. The rich and harmonious palate leads into a stylish and succulent finish with a slightly minty freshness.
