Founded in 1849, the Tajima Brewery is managed by the 6th generation of the family. The brewery specializes in the production of yamahai sake. The traditional yamahai method of brewing sake takes 3 times longer than modern methods, but it gives the sake an exceptionally layered and complex flavor. The Tajima family named their sake Fuku Chitose to express their wish that their sake will always bring happiness to those who drink it. Fuku means “happiness” while chitose means “forever”.
Tasting Note: Savory aromas of pumpkin and spices with complex earthy flavors. The finish is dry and long lasting.
Food Pairing: Serve at room temperature or warmed with slow-cooked pork belly, braised short rib, and nutty cheese.

The 2014 Barolo Riserva Vigna Rionda is a stunning wine. Sweet, perfumed and deep, the 2014 is off-the-charts great. Dark red and purplish berry fruit, mint, lavender, spice and hard candy infuse the 2014 with striking layers of nuance. But what really impresses about the 2014 is its depth and huge vertical build. All the elements fall into place in a sumptuous, deep Barolo that screams with character. Beams of tannin punctuate the finish. Today, the estate is run by siblings Franco, Roberto and Paola. -

Made from the oldest vines growing in ground made up of large stones lying on top of clay, Le Plus de La Fleur de Boüard expresses the full character of the property’s old Merlot grapes which are the only variety to be used. These very old vines obviously have very low yields of 15 to 29 hectolitres per hectare.
The wine is aged for a very long time: 33 months in barrels including 18 months on fine lees. The resulting wine is smooth and elegant. It has perfect balance and lovely freshness. This lush, mouth-filling wine reveals a wide range of aromas and outstanding elegance.

Bibi Graetz Testamatta Rosso 2020 "Testamatta," meaning "crazy-head" in Italian, perfectly reflects the creative and passionate nature of winemaker Bibi Graetz. This Supertuscan wine highlights the purity, minerality, and transparency of Sangiovese from old vines. The grapes for the 2020 vintage are hand-picked and undergo rigorous selection in both the vineyard and winery.
