Born in 1976 with the name of Franciacorta Pinot, this wine marks our initial foray into the world of Franciacortas. In 1991, with the name Franciacorta Brut N.V., it takes on an increasingly recognizable style, more expressive of its terroir. In 2005, after more than 30 years of experimentation and dedication, it matures into Cuvée Prestige and acquires its own well-defined identity. Following a constant reduction in the liqueur added at disgorging, in order to exalt the characteristics of the grapes, with the 2017 harvest it adds Edizione to its name, allowing the gustatory memory to precisely identify the various nuances of each interpretation. -

School friends Giambattista Cilia (C), Giusto Occhipinti (O) and Pinuccia Strano (S) began making wine for pleasure and ended up creating a company that would become one of the most well-known in Sicilia. They rented their parents’ lands and began harvesting, pressing grapes, and making wine. They continue to operate with this independence of spirit, doing largely without an oenologist and basing winemaking decisions on their considerable experience and intuition. COS is a lifelong project of expressing the terroir, passion, and culture of this part of Sicily in its truest form. -

The nose offers a pleasantly fruity bouquet with fragrant notes of red plum and cherry, combined with light spicy and balsamic scents. The palate is fleshy and perfectly reflects the bouquet revealing an extraordinary freshness. The fine–grained tannins, complete this fragrant and pleasant wine. -
Cantine Bertani has been making wines in the Veneto region of Italy for more than 150 years. They have consistently strived to combine tradition and research to create wines of uncompromising quality with a distinct identity. As part of the ripasso technique, the wine is 'passed over' dried grapes to contribute depth and character. Ripasso styles, such as this one, can therefore offer the best of both worlds: notes of ripe red cherry and underbrush (that you often find with Valpolicella), alongside those of spice and chocolate (often found with Amarone). This wine is full-bodied with velvety tannins, aged in barrels and cement vats before spending three further months in bottle prior to release. This rich Ripasso would complement a variety of Italian dishes, from grilled and roasted meats to risotto with porcini mushrooms. -
Vermentino from the Guado al Tasso estate is straw yellow in color with greenish highlights. Excellent aromatic intensity on the nose offers notes of citrus fruit, white flower blossoms and tropical fruit. On the palate it’s savory with good persistence of flavors and a fresh and pleasant citrusy finish. -
Diego Pressenda La Torricella Barbera d'Alba Superiore 2019 has a ruby red color. It has a rich and intense flavor of fresh fruit. In the mouth it is juicy, with a delicate acidity, velvety with interesting vanilla nuances. Soft and flexible wine that reflects the typical character of Barbera grapes. Full-bodied with perceptible alcohol, but very well balanced thanks to its velvety tannins and fresh acidity. It goes well with various dishes such as pasta or red meat.
