Gris is a french name to describe the color of a light rose wine. A blend of 90% Grenche and 10% Carignan. A delicate nose with grapefruit and white peach notes. Fresh and soft palate with a beautiful balance and finish. Perfect as an aperitif, with grilled meat or fish and Asian cuisine. Made from pale-skinned Grenache Gris from 10 to 20 year-old vines and 10% Carignan, "direct press" method is used to create a very pale rosé; grapes are pressed slowly and the juice is run-off without time in contact with the skins. -
Les Perrières is 2.5 acres in size and is situated on the 'back side of the rock' with a sloping southeastern exposure just above the Le Clos parcel. The soil, which is derived from alluvial deposits, consists of a mix of deep silt and clay containing few stones. The subsoil features streaks of limestone and limestone marls, while the top layers, which are moderate in depth, are littered with stones on the surface. The vines have an average age of 35 years old. The wine is fermented in oak barrels before further barrel maturation, a part of it on lees. This Pouilly-Fuissé opens with creamy honeysuckle on the nose. A generous mouthfeel complements a nice ripeness and intense richness with notes of gingerbread and flowers. The wine is ample, smooth and well balanced, with a vivid, spicy finish. With age, it will gain in richness and fully reveal itself. -

This Grand Cru is shared by the two villages of Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses in the north of the Côte de Beaune. Jadot’s vineyard area has been in the family since the 19th century and faces south. This Chardonnay wine is fermented and matured in oak barrels for a total of 18 months. This powerful and mineral wine has intense fruit, flower, pepper and cinnamon aromas and flavors. It is essential to age this wine in the bottle: 10 to 20 years will bring out the best in its development. Pair with haute cuisine, especially fish, shellfish and white meats in cream sauces. -

Charmes-Chambertin is one of the eight Grands Crus of the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin, the most northern of the great communes of the Côte de Nuits. The vineyard of Charmes-Chambertin lies on an east-facing slope on a site that was formerly a field of grain (Charmes comes from “chaume,” meaning thatch). The Pinot Noir grapes are fermented in vats for up to one month, and then the wine is matured in oak barrels for 18 to 20 months before bottling. This wine is deeply colored, with an intense bouquet of black currants and other black and red berries. The mature wine often has aromas of musk or licorice. Made for aging, the wine will improve for 20 to 25 years in the bottle. Serve with elaborate and strongly flavored foods such as mutton, boeuf bourguignon, coq au vin, game or game pâté and strong cheeses. -

Part of Flagey-Echézeaux, to the south of Clos Vougeot, this Grand Cru vineyard is situated on the slopes facing east–southeast on chalky soil. The Pinot Noir grapes are fermented in vats for up to one month, and then matured for 15 to 18 months in oak barrels before bottling. This powerful and delicate wine has intense red berry and spice aromas and flavors. With great length on the palate, this wine will develop favorably in the bottle for 15 to 20 years. Serve with roasts, game and fine cheeses. -
Atop the hierarchy of Beaujolais Crus are Moulin-à-Vent and Morgon, with notable ageing potential. Morgon is robust and structured and can mature for a minimum 5-20 years. Purchased by Maison Louis Jadot in 2001, this south- to southeast-facing vineyard is situated on the slopes over the village of Villié Morgon. It covers 87.5 acres of the Morgon appellation, one of the 10 Crus of Beaujolais. This wine is vinified in vats for 10 to 20 days and then matured in oak barrels before bottling. Very deep in color, this wine - blend of three single vineyards (Bellevue, Côte du Py & Roche noire) - shows a brilliant and large aromatic palette (spices, ripen black fruit). On the palate, the tannins are still a bit firm - which indicates the potential of ageing – and they are well balanced by a great tension. A perfect partner for charcuterie, pasta in a rich cream sauce, pizza and pretty much any meat. The second nose reveals the saline minerality, abundant and refined, an iodine-smoky harmony and a touch of liquorice.
