Champagne Pommery Brut Grand Cru Royal Millesime 2008 has is crystalline, of a discreet gold with green reflections. The nose presents the patina of the Pommery vintages: elegance, minerality, freshness. First of all intense floral notes reach us: the peony floats around the hawthorn. Maturity is expressed by fruity notes of pear and fresh apricot. The great Pinot Noir present themselves with notes of crushed fresh strawberries. On the palate, the tasting is floating, with a great uprightness. A mineral structure fills the palate from the attack to the finish like a spine. Notes of acacia honey and Mirabelle underline the central element of the tasting. The finish is punctuated by a nice sweetness, marked by flavours of blood orange. -

This rosé is a faithful variation of classic Pommery Brut Royal created through the assembly of a red wine made with this mind, and different wines vinified in white, within a great proportion of chardonnay. Delicate pale pink with slightly salmon tones. Fine and persistent bubbles. Small red berries suggesting roundness and softness enhanced by a fine freshness in a world of distinction. The Rare Millésime 2008 has been crowned the "Best Champagne of the World" by the BEST WINE OF THE WORLD COMPETITION 2021. It has also received 97 Points from WINE SPECTATOR and was a trophy winner at the INTERNATIONAL WINE CHALLENGE. Enjoy now or can age until 2050 and beyond. The initial nose shines by the pure vivacity of this vintage. As Rare Millésime 2008 gradually warms in the glass, a vast range of orange blossom, hyacinth and white flowers is released. This leads to the delicacy of vanilla blossoms, a touch of fresh coconut, aromas of just ripe Williams pear and fresh almond, enhanced by notes of tangerine and blackcurrant buds. The second nose reveals the saline minerality, abundant and refined, an iodine-smoky harmony and a touch of liquorice. On the palate the crispy, precise attack is followed by exuberant aromas of fresh pineapple, freshly cut and crisp, passion fruit, kiwi and coconut, nuanced with tangy citrus notes. These combine with plush spring-like flavours with unparalleled length. The finish, with remarkable saline and iodine notes, perpetuates the journey into an endless spring. -
