Champagne Louis Roederer Blanc de Blancs 2015 has a bright yellow hue with slightly green tints and bubbles that are soft, creamy, fine and delicate. The bouquet is precise and mineral with notes of ripe citrus fruit and white, almost vanilla-like blossoms (pollen) and notes of freshly harvested wheat and almonds. The freshness of the bouquet comes through in the form of minty and iodised aromas (sea spray) which slowly evolve towards warmer notes of smoke, hot butter and toast. The palate is creamy and soft yet concentrated on entry. The wine, underpinned by the delicate bubbles, unfolds majestically. It offers us the sensation of ripe, concentrated juice carried by an incredibly powdery texture with a distinctly saline finish. Alain Chavy produces restrained, structured, and long-lived white Burgundies from 17 acres of vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet, with small holdings in the neighboring villages of Chassagne and Meursault. Alain established Domaine Alain Chavy in 2003 with vineyards inherited from his father and includes some of Puligny's top premier crus. Domaine Alain Chavy Puligny-Montrachet 2020 has notes of green apple and lemon and tend to be tauter and firmer on the palate compared to wines from neighboring villages. Aging in a small percentage of new French oak barrels lends accents of toast and vanilla. Structured white wines with high acid and grip, Puligny-Montrachet is destined for long aging. -

Domaine Anne Gros is well-known for producing exceptional Pinot Noir from the appellation of Vosne-Romanée. The owner Anne Gros is widely recognized as one of the leading winemakers in Burgundy. She took over the estate from her father, Francois Gros, in the late 1980s. Anne Gros is known for her meticulous approach to winemaking, with hand-picking the grapes, fermenting with natural yeasts, and using French oak barrels. She also practices minimal intervention in the vineyards, using sustainable and organic farming practices. This Bourgogne Chardonnay 2020 is special selection of fruit from vines planted close to Anne’s vineyards, just outside of Vosne. The wine is aged for one year in French oak casks (500L), with 25% new oak. Expect fresh acidity, medium body, with notes of citrus blossom and fresh pineapple, and a wonderful lacy texture. -

Montagny is the most southern of the Côte Chalonnaise villages and lies at the border of the Mâconnais. Domaine Faiveley Montagny 2020 has clear pale yellow colors with a fresh nose combining floral and mineral notes. The palate is concentrated, well-balanced and taut with a pleasant freshness and good aromatic persistency on the finish. -
Les Perrières is 2.5 acres in size and is situated on the 'back side of the rock' with a sloping southeastern exposure just above the Le Clos parcel. The soil, which is derived from alluvial deposits, consists of a mix of deep silt and clay containing few stones. The subsoil features streaks of limestone and limestone marls, while the top layers, which are moderate in depth, are littered with stones on the surface. The vines have an average age of 35 years old. The wine is fermented in oak barrels before further barrel maturation, a part of it on lees. This Pouilly-Fuissé opens with creamy honeysuckle on the nose. A generous mouthfeel complements a nice ripeness and intense richness with notes of gingerbread and flowers. The wine is ample, smooth and well balanced, with a vivid, spicy finish. With age, it will gain in richness and fully reveal itself. -

Kumeu River Village Chardonnay 2022 is made from grapes grown in Kumeu and Hawkes Bay. It was fermented in a mix of old French oak barriques (33%) and stainless steel tanks (67%). The barrel fermentation adds some richness but little oak flavor, while the tank fermentation allows the vibrant fruit to shine through.The wine has lively lime and lemon aromas, a flinty, mineral edge, and hints of fig and white peach.
