Chapoutier La Bernardine Blanc Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2021 has golden, yellow and brilliant in color with notes of vine blossom and lily in the nose. The palate well-balance and fresh with flavors of candied citrus. -
Les Perrières is 2.5 acres in size and is situated on the 'back side of the rock' with a sloping southeastern exposure just above the Le Clos parcel. The soil, which is derived from alluvial deposits, consists of a mix of deep silt and clay containing few stones. The subsoil features streaks of limestone and limestone marls, while the top layers, which are moderate in depth, are littered with stones on the surface. The vines have an average age of 35 years old. The wine is fermented in oak barrels before further barrel maturation, a part of it on lees. This Pouilly-Fuissé opens with creamy honeysuckle on the nose. A generous mouthfeel complements a nice ripeness and intense richness with notes of gingerbread and flowers. The wine is ample, smooth and well balanced, with a vivid, spicy finish. With age, it will gain in richness and fully reveal itself. -

It’s creamy and packed with umami from the cold lactic fermentation (Kimoto) and the super geeky Hyogo grown Aiyama rice only polished to 90%. The Uccelliera estate is located in the warm southern Castelnuovo dell’Abate part of the Montalcino zone. The vineyards range from 150 to 350 meters above sea level. Uccelliera Brunello di Montalcino 2018 is aged 24 months in a mix of French and Slavonian oak. The wine has aromas of black cherries, plums, and walnuts with undertones of cedar. The palate is dense and full-bodied, with rich tannins, and a complex finish. -
