It’s creamy and packed with umami from the cold lactic fermentation (Kimoto) and the super geeky Hyogo grown Aiyama rice only polished to 90%. Then the rose flower yeast adds a layer of refreshing acidity and a hint of sweetness. Afuri Ohana Kimoto Junmai Muroka Nama can be served chilled or room temperature, try it with grilled pork, seared steak or as you begin your afternoon. -

Banfi Brunello di Montalcino 2018 is a rich and elegant Brunello, both in structure and in olfactory expression. Brilliant ruby red with garnet-colored reflections, on the nose the aroma is sweet and fruity, the hints of fresh red fruit stand out, which combine perfectly with the more complex notes of licorice and pipe tobacco. The structure is powerful, and the palate is pleasantly enveloped by a consistent tannic texture, well balanced by a pleasant acidity. Extremely persistent with excellent aging potential. It pairs particularly well with rich and tasty dishes. -

Born's Special Junmai Daiginjo, aged for a minimum of two years at 0℃. Medium-bodied satin-like mouthfeel, and boasts the mature fragrance of grapefruits. Delightfully debonair. -

Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino 2018 is a high-quality red wine produced in the Montalcino region of Tuscany, Italy. It is made entirely from Sangiovese grapes, also known locally as Brunello, which are carefully handpicked and selected during harvest. In the glass, this wine has a deep ruby color with purple hues. On the nose, it has intense and complex aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and ripe plum, with hints of spice, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with rich flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, and vanilla, complemented by smooth tannins and a long, lingering finish. Castello di Perno is an up-and-coming estate in Piedmont of which wine lovers will be hearing a lot more in years to come. The wines are made by one of the region’s top winemakers, Gian Luca Colombo, and the style is described as "neoclassical" by Nick Jackson MW; not a traditionalist, not a modernist producer, but a new classic style of Barolo. The 2019 vintage of Castello di Perno is 100% Nebbiolo, aged for 24 months in Austrian oak casks and 12 months in bottle. Expect aromas of dried flowers, truffles and cranberries. The balanced palate has high tight-grained tannins and complex earthy and herbal notes, with an elegant long finish. We had the honor of hosting Castello di Perno at 305 Wines and tasted a range of their wines. All highly recommended. -
The Baron D'Auvergne Champagne house, nestled in Bouzy, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims region, has a history dating back several centuries. They are a small negotiant house, growing and buying grapes. Bouzy is a Grand Cru village, one of the highest-rated vineyards in Champagne, and well known for the quality of its Pinot Noir grapes, perfect for the creation of this cuvee. The Champagne Baron D'Auvergne Fine Fleur is a Blanc de Noirs, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, and aged on lees for 36 months, resulting in its complex flavors and delicate effervescence. The dosage is only 9 g/l RS, creating a Brut style.On the nose this Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru reveals a symphony of aromas. Expect notes of ripe red fruits like raspberries, toasted brioche, and a hint of almond. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with a fine mousse and a balanced acidity that brings freshness and a lively character to the wine. Champagne Pommery Brut Grand Cru Royal Millesime 2008 has is crystalline, of a discreet gold with green reflections. The nose presents the patina of the Pommery vintages: elegance, minerality, freshness. First of all intense floral notes reach us: the peony floats around the hawthorn. Maturity is expressed by fruity notes of pear and fresh apricot. The great Pinot Noir present themselves with notes of crushed fresh strawberries. On the palate, the tasting is floating, with a great uprightness. A mineral structure fills the palate from the attack to the finish like a spine. Notes of acacia honey and Mirabelle underline the central element of the tasting. The finish is punctuated by a nice sweetness, marked by flavours of blood orange. -
