Salomon Undhof is an important, historic producer in the Kremstal region of Austria, producing world class Grüner Veltliner and Riesling wines from the slopes above the Danube river. Founded in 1792, the Salomon family is now in its eighth and ninth generation working these vineyards, and were among the first Austrian producers to export to the USA in the 1930s. The Salomon-Undhof Gruner Veltliner “Wachtberg” presents a vibrant and refreshing profile, characterized by its crisp acidity and minerality. On the nose, it reveals aromas of green apple, white pepper, and subtle hints of citrus. The palate is greeted with flavors of ripe pear, lemon zest, and a touch of honey, leading to a clean, lingering finish. This wine is a classic example of Gruner Veltliner's elegance and versatility. It's a perfect match for light salads and Asian dishes, especially those with a slight spice, as its refreshing character balances the heat. -

Château La Gorce is an organically farmed Left Bank Bordeaux estate, classified as a Cru Bourgeois. The château is located in the Médoc appellation, the furthest north appellation in Bordeaux, a few miles north of St. Estèphe. Sandwiched between the Gironde river and the Atlantic ocean, with gravel, clay and limestone soils, Médoc wines are concentrated and savoury.
The Cru Bourgeois classification is a well-respected, long-standing classification for Left Bank Bordeaux wines, usually made from a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon. Cru Bourgeois châteaux are typically considered one qualitative step below their Grand Cru Classé neighbors, but are well known for their exceptional value, frequently producing very affordable wines that can nonetheless easily improve for 15-20 years. The Cru Bourgeois classification is made every five years, and is based on a blind tasting by a professional panel as well as other criteria, ensuring quality.

Cave Caloz is a family run winery that was established three generations ago and whose wine production guarantees the health and nourishment of the land, whilst benevolently using natural and human resources. The grapes, which are harvested by hand and vinified in our cellar, produce vintages that bring joy and meaning to our profession. The winery was founded by Fernand, who built both the cellar and the family house in 1960. Color: Straw Aromas: honey and white flower. Palate: Spiced lemon flavors with snappy acidity. Nicely textured and round with a tingle to finish.
