he only Sakagura/Sake Brewery in Kochi City (named after alias of Yamauchi Yōdō, who was a Japanese Daimyo of the Shikoku region in the Edo period). They hope to make sake that is the best to pair with food - sake that is dry, yet with high acidity and umami - using the isolated Tosa Mountain range's pure spring water. This water contains no iron or manganese, which are detrimental elements in sake. The brewery is also quite particular about their ingredients - the rice is polished very carefully, and they use true Kumamoto Yeast. A reserved aroma, gentle rice notes, perfect acidity and a fine finish combine to create the unique flavor profile of Suigei Tokubetsu Junmai. -

Gramona La Cuvee 2019 has a pale yellow, steel edges (white gold) color. On the nose the wine has medium intensity. Elegant floral notes wrapped in stone fruit (peach, apricot ), golden apple, lemon peel, pineapple. Notes of bakery, nuts such as almonds and some balsamic such as fennel and bay leaf. On the palate the wine has a round entrance, medium enveloping body, crispy carbonic texture. In the retronasal route citrus memories return, the apple, the almond. Very refreshing and long nish. Perfect as an appetizer that can be extended to the rest of the meal. Gastronomic and versatile. -

Natural Wines are those that have the minimum posible intervention of man.Sulfites are not added. Natural yeasts are used and the wine is bottled unfiltered. Fermentation in tanks. When the natural sugars in the wine have a value of 23 grams per liter, it is bottled and the final sparkling wine is left with 9 grams of sugar. The wine continue to ferment inside the bottle up to the indicated pressure. The sugar in sparkling wine and it ́s pressure are obtained naturally. Graham's Late Bottled Vintage 2017 is matured in wood for five years prior to being bottled ready for drinking. The Graham’s 2017 can be enjoyed anytime and pairs wonderfully with dark chocolate desserts as well as semi-cured and cured cheeses like Cheddar and Manchego. On the nose it has a lovely honeysuckle fragrance as well as hints of mint, along with bright, attractive tropical fruit notes in the background. On the palate it has notes of ripe black fruit combining with hints of kirsch. The fine-grained tannins give the wine balance and structure, whilst good acidity underscores the wine’s freshness. -
Pinot Noir is the rising star of Marlborough and the variety that most expresses the differences from season to season. Grown on the southern hills in clay soils, this Pinot is well rounded with oh-so juicy flavours of cherry and black Doris plum. The wild fermentation along with extended lees maturation have added complexity and texture to the dark fruits and the finish is dry with a nice touch of dark chocolate and spice. -

Patty Green and Jim Anderson started Patricia Green Cellars in 2000 after walking away from a very successful winery that they had built up since its inception in 1993. As karma would have it they were offered the opportunity, out of almost nowhere, to purchase a winery and vineyard that were located in the area that would become to be known as the Ribbon Ridge AVA. The winery was built on the idea that there were great vineyards in Oregon that could produce uniquely excellent wines if people dedicated themselves to the farming and winemaking necessary to do so. Over many vintages that ideal expanded as experience was gained, the winery grew and the sophistication of the vision adapted to the times. The 2021 vintage is an unusual one where the high heat neither translated into dark nor high alcohol wines. Wines are particularly red fruited, ripe, supple and delicious at early ages in this vintage. Perfect for a bottling that values consumption at a youthful age.Winemaker notes:
