Domaine des Lambrays Clos Des Lambrays Grand Cru 2021

The Clos des Lambrays is one of the 33 Grands Crus of Bourgogne, located in one of the region’s most precious so-called “Climats”. The very first reference to « Clos des Lambrays » traces back to the fourteenth century. Archives of the Abbey of Cîteaux reveal its founding around 1365. An engraved milestone, still in its original location, commemorates the founding. The Domaine des Lambrays Clos Des Lambrays Grand Cru 2021 offers aromas of dark cherries, ripe plums, and blackberries with hints of violets, forest floor, and graphite. On the palate, it is balanced with bright acidity and very fine tannins, displaying flavors of red and black fruits, earthy notes, and a touch of spice and cedar from the long aging in French oak barrels. The finish is extremely long. This wine reflects the terroir of Clos des Lambrays and has 15-20 years of aging potential.

Katsuyama Den Junmai Daiginjo

Established in 1688, Katsuyama is a sake brewery with traditions lasting well over three century. They were established to brew the upscale sake enjoyed exclusively by the feudal lords of the Sendai domain, where was founded by Japan's Most famous samurai & military commander Date Masamune. To this day, Katsuyama carries on the reputation and tradition of its origins as a brewery for the lords.

Brewed with a traditional sake brewing method,  Den features a fruity aroma and distinct rich flavors. This sake has the true characteristics of a Junmai Daiginjo. Its crisp and clean umami stands out clearly and lingers as a distinctly mouthwatering aftertaste. It is an excellent choice to pair with tuna and salmon sushi/sashimi. It also goes well with meat and meat dishes prepared in both Japanese and western style.

Den means "tradition," referring to the traditional way this sake is brewed.

Chateau Gazin Pomerol 1989

The Château Gazin vineyards in Pomerol, which were once part of the famous Templars property, occupy 45 acres next to Château Petrus and Château l'Evangile. Most Pomerol improve greatly with age. The wine offers a wide aromatic range of red and black fruit which harmonizes with their intense crimson or garnet red color. It typically offers hints of plum, chocolate, coffee or liquorice, with aromas of almonds, toast, tobacco and vanilla, and a minty freshness. With maturity it develops a spicy nose, with a hint of truffles, notes of undergrowth, game, fur and leather.
