Ultramarine Hirsch Vineyard Rosé 2019 is a single-vineyard, vintage sparkling Pinot Noir from one of the most celebrated sites on the Sonoma Coast.

The fruit comes from Hirsch Vineyard, high above the Pacific Ocean, where the cool coastal climate gives Pinot Noir natural acidity and remarkable aromatic definition. The wine shows wild strawberry and red cherry alongside blood orange, dried herbs and subtle savory notes, with hints of spice and mineral character developing as it opens.

What sets this wine apart from more conventional California sparkling rosé is its vinous character. It has fine bubbles and freshness, but also the structure, texture and complexity of serious Pinot Noir. The 2019 is especially expressive, balancing bright red fruit with earthy and herbal notes that become more pronounced in the glass.

Produced in extremely limited quantities, Ultramarine has become one of the reference points for terroir-driven California sparkling wine.

Food Pairing: Pair with tuna tartare, smoked salmon, duck, charcuterie, grilled prawns, roast chicken, mushroom dishes, or washed-rind cheeses.

Serve around 48–52°F in a white-wine or tulip-shaped sparkling-wine glass rather than a narrow flute.
