Ridge East Bench Zinfandel 2023 comes from Ridge Vineyards, one of California’s most respected producers, known for single-vineyard wines that highlight terroir with clarity and balance. Since the 1960s, Ridge has been a benchmark for Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon, producing some of the state’s most age-worthy reds.

The East Bench vineyard is located near Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County and is planted exclusively to Zinfandel, making it a rare single-vineyard expression of the grape. The 2023 vintage shows vibrant aromas of raspberry, blackberry, and plum, layered with pepper, spice, and a touch of oak. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with bright acidity, supple tannins, and a long, fruit-driven finish.

An expressive Sonoma Zinfandel, East Bench is approachable in its youth but also has the structure to age for 7–10 years. It pairs beautifully with barbecue, grilled sausages, or pizza, offering both versatility and authenticity.
