David Ramey helped define the modern California Chardonnay style, drawing inspiration from Burgundy while letting the Russian River Valley speak for itself. The 2023 is sourced from seven cool-climate vineyard sites on Goldridge Loam soils, whole-cluster pressed, fermented with native yeast, and aged 12 months in 10% new French oak. The result is precise and layered: Meyer lemon, white peach, ripe pear, toasted brioche, and a long mineral finish. Full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and drinking well now through 2035.
