O’Shaughnessy Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 brings together fruit from the estate’s vineyards in Howell Mountain, Mount Veeder and Oakville, combining mountain structure with the richer texture of the valley floor.

Blackberry, cassis and dark plum lead the aromatic profile, followed by cedar, tobacco, cocoa and subtle spice. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe dark fruit, firm but polished tannins and enough acidity to keep the wine fresh through the long, savory finish.

Each vineyard contributes something different to the blend. Howell Mountain provides power and structure, Mount Veeder adds freshness and mineral character, while Oakville rounds the wine with richness and smoother texture.

The 2022 is generous enough to enjoy now, but the Cabernet structure gives it the ability to develop further in bottle.

Food Pairing: Pair with grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, lamb, beef tenderloin, venison, mushroom dishes, or aged hard cheeses.

Serve around 60–64°F. If drinking now, decant for approximately 45–60 minutes.
