Heinrichshof Pinot Blanc 2025 comes from the Middle Mosel, where the grape is grown on the slate-influenced slopes around Zeltingen and Erden.
Yellow apple, pear and citrus are joined by roasted almond, dried flowers, gentle spice and a subtle touch of vanilla. The palate is dry and fresh, with a lightly creamy texture, moderate acidity and a mineral-spiced finish.
The 2025 was fermented and matured in a combination of traditional Fuder barrels, stainless steel and a small proportion of larger-format oak, adding texture without covering the fruit.
I like the balance here between freshness and texture. It has enough weight to work well with food, but the fruit and mineral character keep the wine lively and easy to drink.
Food Pairing: Pair with trout, grilled white fish, asparagus with hollandaise, roast chicken, pork, creamy vegetable dishes, or soft cheeses.
Serve around 48–52°F.
