Joseph Drouhin Bourgogne Rouge 2023 is a classic introduction to red Burgundy, made entirely from Pinot Noir and sourced from selected vineyards across the region.

The wine opens with red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, followed by subtle floral and earthy notes. The palate is fresh and light on its feet, with gentle tannins, bright acidity and a clean red-fruit finish.

What I particularly like about this wine is its straightforward expression of Pinot Noir. It offers the freshness and finesse associated with Burgundy without requiring a special occasion, making it a very useful bottle both for everyday drinking and for customers beginning to explore the region.
