Hugel Classic Gewurztraminer 2023 is an expressive Alsace white from one of the region’s historic family estates, produced entirely from Gewurztraminer.

Rose and jasmine lead the aromatic profile, followed by peach, Mirabelle plum, lychee and subtle exotic fruit. Notes of cardamom and clove add the spicy character that makes Gewurztraminer so distinctive.

The palate is generous and aromatic, but the wine remains surprisingly fresh and precise. A small amount of residual sugar rounds the texture without making the wine feel overtly sweet, while the finish retains a gentle bitterness and spice.

This is a particularly useful wine at the table because its aromatic intensity works with dishes that can overwhelm more neutral white varieties.

Food Pairing: Pair with Thai or Vietnamese cuisine, mildly spicy curries, smoked salmon, roast pork, poultry, pâté, Munster or other strong cheeses.

Serve chilled around 46–50°F.
