Domaine Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques 2023 comes from one of the most highly regarded Premier Cru vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin, on the northern side of the village.

The wine opens with blackberry, cassis and dark cherry, followed by blood orange, violet, clove and subtle smoky notes. The palate has concentration without excessive weight, combining ripe dark fruit with fresh acidity and finely textured tannins. Earthy and mineral notes become more apparent through the long finish.

Lavaux Saint-Jacques naturally produces a more structured expression of Pinot Noir, and the 2023 balances that power with remarkable freshness. The result is a Gevrey-Chambertin with both depth and precision, already expressive but clearly built for further development in bottle.

Food Pairing: Pair with roast duck, venison, beef tenderloin, lamb, porcini mushrooms, truffle dishes, or mature Comté and Époisses.

Serve around 58–62°F. If drinking young, decant for approximately 45–60 minutes.
