Domaine de la Pépière “La Pépie” Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine 2025 is made from Melon de Bourgogne in the Pays Nantais, near the Atlantic coast of the Loire Valley.
The wine shows lemon, green apple and pear, followed by subtle white flowers, wet stone and a distinctly saline character. Aging on the lees gives the palate a gentle textural dimension while preserving the bright acidity and dry, refreshing finish that define good Muscadet.
What I particularly like about La Pépie is its clarity and sense of place. It is a straightforward wine in the best possible sense: fresh, mineral and extremely useful at the table, especially with seafood.
Food Pairing: Pair with oysters, clams, mussels, shrimp, ceviche, sushi, grilled white fish, calamari, crab, fresh goat cheese, or light vegetable dishes.
Serve chilled around 48–52°F.
