Diamond Creek Red Rock Terrace Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 comes from one of Napa Valley’s pioneering single-vineyard sites, planted in 1968 on steep terraces of iron-rich red volcanic soil.

The 2021 combines Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Petit Verdot and Malbec. Aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry and pomegranate are joined by rose petal, licorice, dried herbs and a distinctive mineral note that reflects the iron-rich soils of the vineyard.

The palate is concentrated but remarkably precise, with polished tannins, vibrant acidity and layers of red and dark fruit carrying through a long, structured finish. Compared with the more powerful Volcanic Hill, Red Rock Terrace traditionally shows a softer and more immediately expressive side of Diamond Creek.

Only 399 cases were produced in 2021, making this a genuinely limited Napa Cabernet with both collector appeal and significant aging potential.

Food Pairing: Pair with grilled ribeye, roast beef, lamb, venison, braised short ribs, porcini mushrooms, or aged hard cheeses.

Serve around 60–64°F. If drinking young, decant for approximately 1–2 hours; additional bottle age will allow the tannins and mineral character to become even more integrated.
