Château Nénin Pomerol 1998 shows mature Right Bank generosity, with aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, dark chocolate, coffee, dried herbs, spice and a subtle smoky nuance. The palate is dry, full-bodied and supple, with velvety tannins, fresh acidity and a rounded, savoury finish. Fully mature and harmonious, it is drinking beautifully now and would pair well with roast lamb, beef short rib or wild mushroom risotto.
