Benanti Etna Bianco 2025 is made entirely from Carricante grown on the eastern and southern slopes of Mount Etna, where high elevation and volcanic soils give the wine its distinctive freshness and mineral character.

Green apple, lemon and white peach are joined by citrus blossom, fresh herbs and subtle stony notes. The palate is dry and precise, with bright acidity, a fine saline character and a clean, persistent finish.

The vineyards sit between approximately 700 and 950 meters above sea level, with vines ranging from 20 to 60 years old. Fermentation and aging take place in stainless steel, helping preserve the purity of the fruit and the naturally mineral expression of Carricante.

I like this wine because it shows the freshness and tension that make Etna Bianco so distinctive. There is enough fruit to make it approachable, but the acidity, salinity and volcanic character give it much more personality than a simple Mediterranean white.

Food Pairing: Pair with oysters, crudo, grilled fish, shellfish, seafood pasta, sushi, roast chicken, or fresh goat cheese.

Serve around 48–52°F.
