Barruol Lynch Hermitage Blanc La Pierrelle 2019 is a collaboration between Louis Barruol of Château de Saint-Cosme in Gigondas and importer Kermit Lynch, focused on producing wines that express the terroirs of the Rhône Valley. This Hermitage Blanc is crafted from Marsanne and Roussanne, the classic white grapes of the appellation.
The 2019 vintage was excellent in the northern Rhône, yielding whites with richness and precision. La Pierrelle shows aromas of pear, quince, and acacia, layered with honey, almond, and mineral notes. On the palate, it is textured and full-bodied yet balanced by freshness, finishing long and elegant.
A fine example of Hermitage Blanc, it pairs beautifully with roast poultry, lobster, or creamy cheeses, and has the structure to develop further in the cellar.
