Antinori has invested deeply in its Pian delle Vigne estate in Montalcino, crafting this 2020 Brunello from 100% Sangiovese on southwest-facing slopes. The vintage offered warm days, cool nights and excellent ripening, allowing both fruit richness and vibrant acidity to shine.

This Brunello opens with aromas of blood orange, ripe plum and wild cherry, layered with balsamic herb and a hint of vanilla. On the palate it’s medium-to-full-bodied, with polished yet present tannins, bright freshness and a long finish showing spice, mineral lift and forest-floor nuance. A fine 2020 that’s ready to enjoy yet built to evolve.
