Naia Verdejo 2024 comes from La Seca in Rueda, one of the historic homes of the Verdejo grape in Spain.
The wine is aromatic and expressive, with notes of peach, apricot, citrus peel, fennel and wild herbs. The palate is fresh but not thin, showing a rounded texture from lees aging, bright acidity and the slight bitter note on the finish that is characteristic of Verdejo.
Part of the wine is fermented and aged in large French-oak vessels, while the rest remains in stainless steel. This adds texture and complexity without giving the wine an obvious oaky character.
Naia is a useful alternative for customers who enjoy Sauvignon Blanc or Albariño but want something with a little more texture and savory character.
Food Pairing: Pair with grilled fish, shellfish, ceviche, sushi, rice dishes, roast chicken, vegetable dishes, or Asian cuisine.
Serve chilled around 46–50°F.
