Roederer Estate L’Ermitage Brut Rosé 2015

Roederer Estate is the Anderson Valley estate of Champagne Louis Roederer, farming only estate-grown grapes and following méthode traditionnelle. The L’Ermitage Rosé cuvée is made only in exceptional years, with a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, plus a touch of still-red wine for colour and depth. The 2015 vintage, picked early amid a dry spell, delivered ideal ripeness and structure.

L’Ermitage Rosé 2015 presents a pale salmon colour, with aromas of red apple, strawberry, and subtle brioche. On the palate it is crisp and refined, with fine bubbles, bright acidity, a hint of yeast-autolysis creaminess, and a long, savoury finish. A flagship sparkling wine that rewards patience and pairs beautifully with refined seafood or white meats.
