From Toro DO, Spain, Numanthia 2019 is a dry red wine made from 100% Tinta de Toro, the local Tempranillo clone grown from old, ungrafted vines. Aromas of black plum, blackberry, black cherry, licorice, cocoa, tobacco, vanilla, clove, and toasted oak lead to a full-bodied palate with firm tannins, medium-plus acidity, dark fruit concentration, and 15% alcohol. The finish carries notes of black fruit, baking spice, espresso, dried herbs, and toasted wood.

Pair with grilled ribeye, lamb chops, braised short ribs, roasted pork, game meats, mushroom dishes, aged Manchego, or charcuterie.
