The grapes are sourced from the Melrose Vineyard in Napa Valley’s Rutherford AVA, a site owned by the Beckstoffer family. Known for its rare old-vine Sauvignon Blanc, the vineyard features loam soils rich in volcanic ash, contributing depth and complexity to the wines. 

The old vines are carefully managed using a Lyre trellis system, allowing for ideal sun exposure. Under the guidance of winemaker Mike Smith, this Sauvignon Blanc is hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel and neutral oak to preserve its vibrant character. The wine shows aromatic nose of nectarine, pineapple, and melon, with bright acidity and creamy palate.
