2010 is one of the greatest Bordeaux vintages of the modern era — powerful, concentrated, built for the long haul. Beauregard sits on the Pomerol plateau on clay-gravel soils, with a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc aged 16–22 months in French oak. At 15 years old, this is drinking beautifully right now.
Deep and saturated in color, with creamy dark fruit on the nose — plum, blackcurrant, spice, and a menthol lift from the Cabernet Franc. The palate is rich and full with excellent depth, silky texture, and a long finish. Classic Pomerol at its best.
Drink now through 2030. Pair with roasted lamb, duck breast, or aged hard cheeses.
