Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino 2021 is the estate’s classic White Label Brunello, produced entirely from Sangiovese grown across the family’s vineyards in Montalcino.

The 2021 opens with black cherry and wild red berries, followed by dried flowers, blood orange, bay leaf and Mediterranean herbs. As the wine develops, notes of clove, licorice and subtle spice become more apparent.

The palate combines concentration with freshness. Fine but persistent tannins give the wine structure, while lively acidity keeps the ripe fruit focused and carries the wine through a long, savory finish.

This vintage shows the more elegant side of Casanova di Neri. It has enough depth to drink beautifully with food today, but the balance of fruit, acidity and tannin also gives it excellent potential for further development in the cellar.

Food Pairing: Pair with bistecca alla Fiorentina, roast lamb, braised beef, wild boar ragù, porcini mushrooms, truffle dishes, or aged Pecorino.

Serve around 60–63°F. If drinking young, decant for approximately one hour.
