Guy Breton Chiroubles “Cuvée Léa” 2022 comes from old Gamay vines planted on steep, high-altitude granite slopes in one of Beaujolais’ most elevated crus.
The wine is bright and lifted, with red cherry, raspberry and pomegranate joined by violet, rose petal and a gentle peppery note. The palate is supple and energetic, with fine tannins, fresh acidity and a subtle mineral edge that keeps the fruit focused.
Cuvée Léa shows the lighter, more perfumed side of Beaujolais without sacrificing depth. Its altitude and old vines bring freshness and concentration, while Guy Breton’s low-intervention approach keeps the expression vivid and transparent.
Food Pairing: Pair with roast chicken, pork tenderloin, duck, charcuterie, veal, mushroom dishes, grilled sausages, or soft and semi-firm cheeses.
Serve slightly cool, around 58–62°F. Decanting is optional.
