Antinori Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino 2019 is produced by the historic Antinori family at their estate just south of Montalcino. Dedicated entirely to Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello), Pian delle Vigne takes its name from the 19th-century railway station located on the property.

The 2019 vintage in Montalcino is considered excellent, yielding wines with concentration, freshness, and balance. This Brunello shows aromas of red cherry, plum, and violet, layered with spice, leather, and tobacco from extended aging. On the palate it is structured and elegant, with fine tannins and a long, complex finish.

A benchmark Tuscan red, it can be enjoyed now with decanting or aged in the cellar for decades. Perfect with bistecca alla fiorentina, game, or aged Pecorino Toscano.
