Vincent Girardin Volnay Vieilles Vignes 2022 comes from one of Burgundy’s most recognized domaines. Founded in 1980, the estate built its reputation on precise, terroir-driven wines from the Côte de Beaune, and today continues under the direction of Eric Germain, producing elegant and age-worthy Burgundies.

Volnay is renowned for producing some of the most delicate and perfumed Pinot Noir in Burgundy. This cuvée comes from old vines (“Vieilles Vignes”), which naturally yield smaller crops of concentrated fruit.

The 2022 vintage was generous and balanced, delivering wines with ripe fruit and freshness. This Volnay shows aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and violet, with subtle spice and earth. On the palate, it is silky and refined, with supple tannins and a long, graceful finish.

Enjoyable young, but with the structure to age for 10–12 years, this is a classic expression of Volnay that highlights both terroir and the pedigree of Vincent Girardin.
