Maçanita Vinhos is a project by siblings António and Joana Maçanita, two of Portugal’s most dynamic winemakers. Based in the Douro Valley, they craft wines that highlight the region’s diverse terroirs and native varieties through minimal intervention and precision winemaking.

Maçanita Tinto 2021 is a blend of 55% Touriga Nacional, 25% old-vine field blend, and 20% Sousão. It shows aromas of violet, plum, and dark berries. The palate is fresh and balanced, with juicy fruit, lively acidity, and a smooth finish—a vibrant and modern expression of the Douro.
