From Veronese IGT in Veneto, Italy, Allegrini Palazzo della Torre 2022 is a dry red wine made mainly from Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella. About 30% of the grapes are partially dried before fermentation, adding concentration and a subtle dried-fruit character. Aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, dried berries, violet, licorice, cocoa, coffee, baking spice, and light balsamic notes lead to a medium to full-bodied palate with fresh acidity, moderate tannins, and dark fruit concentration. The finish carries notes of cherry, chocolate, spice, and toasted wood.

Pair with braised beef, roasted pork, lamb, mushroom pasta, aged cheeses, charcuterie, or tomato-based Italian dishes.
