Fattoria La Lecciaia has been family-owned since 1983, when Mauro Pacini acquired the estate and modernized its winemaking facilities while preserving the deep-rooted traditions of Brunello di Montalcino. The vines are planted across varying elevations, in a mix of clay and limestone soils, which contributes to the structure and elegance of its wines.
This Brunello di Montalcino 2018 is aged for 36 months in Slavonian oak, followed by additional bottle aging before release. It offers aromas of ripe red cherries, dried roses, tobacco, and earthy spice. The palate is balanced and layered, with firm tannins and vibrant acidity leading to a long, refined finish. The 2018 vintage shows excellent aging potential—decant before serving.
