Dominio del Águila Pícaro Tinto Viñas Viejas 2021 is crafted by Jorge Monzón, one of Ribera del Duero’s most respected winemakers. Sourced from old bush vines, this wine reflects the same meticulous approach used in the estate’s top cuvées, but in a more approachable style. Mostly Tempranillo with small amounts of native varieties, it offers aromas of dark berries, herbs, and floral notes, with depth and precision that hint at the house’s high-end bottlings. A fine introduction to the philosophy of Dominio del Águila, pairing beautifully with roasted lamb, charcuterie, or aged Manchego.
