Domaine Jean-François Sanford & Benedict The Twelve Rows Pinot Noir 2020 comes from one of the most historic vineyards in California’s Santa Rita Hills. The Sanford & Benedict Vineyard, planted in 1971, was the first in the region and remains a benchmark site for cool-climate Pinot Noir.

The Twelve Rows bottling is highly limited, sourced from a tiny parcel of older vines that produce low yields and concentrated fruit. The 2020 vintage shows aromas of red cherry, cranberry, and raspberry, layered with rose petal, spice, and subtle earth. On the palate, it is elegant and precise, with fine tannins, bright acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish.

With its rarity and site-driven character, this wine offers both immediate pleasure and aging potential of 10–12 years, evolving to show more savory and complex notes with time in bottle.
